Kakhobwe in action during the Red Lions stalemate

Nyasa Big Bullets supporters have asked coach Kalisto Pasuwa to relegate first choice goalkeeper Enerst Kakhobwe to the bench after embarrassing blunders that gifted Red Lions three goals in a 3-3 draw.

The People’s Team took the lead after 15 minutes through Hassan Kajoke but Royal Bokosi equalised seven minutes later after miscommunication between defenders and the goalkeeper.

The visitors were ahead on 31st minute when Kakhobwe clearance hit Ben Manyozo and deflected back into his own net when he had more space options to clear the ball.

Three minutes before half-time Kakhobwe made another error which handed the Zomba outfit the third goal.

The Flames number one goalkeeper left his line after failing to communicate with his defender to allow Bokosi to tap in from the edge of the box into an empty net.

Bullets reduced the deficit in the added time of the half through Kajoke’s penalty before Gomezgani Chirwa levelled the scores in the second half.

After the match Nyasa Big Bullets posted a video of the game’s highlights on their official Facebook page and some fans were quick to slam the shot-stopper.

One said: “Kakhobwe shouldn’t be our first-choice goalkeeper”

Another wrote: “We have problems in goalkeeping”

Someone commented: “Thanks a lot for the highlights please bring Chiyenda back”

And the other said: “Let’s try to use Chimbamba is one of the best goalkeepers than Kakhobwe”
